Abstract
A fault-tolerant control with active vibration suppression approach was proposed for the flexible satellite attitude control system with actuator faults during orbit control. Combined with adaptive control method, a higher-order sliding mode fault tolerant attitude controller was designed for the flexible spacecraft with the orbit control force disturbance, and higher-order sliding mode compensator was designed to actively suppress the induced vibration. The simulation on the flexible satellite attitude system demonstrates that this method can achieve the actuator fault tolerance and improve the attitude control precision under the condition of interference.
