Abstract

Fault reconstruction methods of actuator faults based on sliding mode observer for descriptor Lipschitz nonlinear systems with uncertain are considered and the design algorithms are given. The method uses H control theory to design the observer gain such that L 2 gain from the uncertainty to reconstruction error of fault was minimized. The design is formulated as a convex optimization problem subject to LMI constraints. With simulation, the effectiveness of the design technique is illustrated.
