Fatigue-creep interaction fracture graph of 12Cr1MoV steel under holding load

Abstract

A fatigue-creep interaction fracture graph of 12Cr1MoV heat-resistant steel under holding load is constructed by simulation mechanical test using practical load spectrum together with its fractographic analysis. Based on this graph the relation between creep fracture life and holding time is suggested as life prediction criterion to provide a reliable base for safe operation of thermal power plant.
