abstract = "A fast space target detection method using Segmented Planar Imaging Detector for Electro-Optical Reconnaissance (SPIDER) in frequency domain is proposed. This frequency domain detection method is based on the sparse arrangement of lenslet arrays and very low spectral sampling data amount in SPIDER. The principles, processes, and parameters settings of this novel frequency domain detection method are illustrated. Finally, the superiority of this frequency domain detection method is verified by a comparison between the detection performance in space domain and frequency domain. The results show that the speed of the proposed frequency domain detection method is more than 13 times faster than that of traditional space domain detection method.",
