abstract = "Hybrid precoding is regarded as one of the most promising technologies for future wireless communications. However, in the design of multi-cell hybrid precoding systems, the substantial overhead information exchange among base stations and the pronounced disparity across users present critical challenges for practical deployment. In this paper, we investigate a hybrid precoding scheme for multi-cell communication network. To reduce the information exchange, we incorporate a virtual rate mechanism to approximate intercell interference which limits the overhead unrelated to the number of antennas. Furthermore, we introduce an innovative optimization model based on geometric mean maximization to enhance user fairness while maintaining high transmission rates. It inherently balances user rates than traditional sumrate maximization by preventing rate domination among users. Simulation results verify that our approach improves user fairness and ensures rapid convergence while achieving high transmission rates and reducing information exchange.",
