Failure Detection and Experimental Test of Active Pressure Boosting Function of Integrated Electro-hydraulic Braking System

Abstract

Brake-by-wire system is the key technology to realize autonomous driving and ensure the driving safety. The functional safety and reliability of the active pressure boosting is even more important. At present, the brake-by-wire system mainly adopts the electric servo cylinder, and realizes the active braking through cooperation ofvalves and motor. A set of failure detection method is designed for the latest integrated electro-hydraulic braking system, and the rapidity and accuracy of the detection method are verified by experiments.
