Abstract
Taking the 'integration architecture' theories as the basic point, we combine the extension planning theories and integration architecture design. Then aiming at the strict request of natatorium competition hall demand to natural light environment and problems existent in the design process of natatorium competition hall, we put forward the concept of integrated resources in design process of natural light environment for natatorium competition hall. We expect to use extension planning to deal with the self-contradictory problem to optimize the design of natural light environment. By discussing the integration thought and the analysis to matter elements and resources integration of natural light environment for natatorium competition hall, we try to explain how to apply extension-planning theories to guide the design of natural light environment for natatorium competition hall. The study results show that, by resources transformation various extension resources originality could be produced and become controllable resources to the design of natural light environment. We could add and delete, expand and reduce, separate and combine these originalities and get various design programs. After that, evaluation sieving would be carried out according to concrete design tasks. By disposition and integration to the resources which would help the design target be realized successfully, the best program would be selected to carry out the final design.
