Abstract

The pyrolysis characteristics of five sorts of waste plastics namely high density polyethylene (HDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) were investigated in fluidized bed. The effect of temperature on the yield of liquid and gas fuel production and the gas composition are analyzed. The essential parameters have been provided for developing industrial equipment of producing liquid and gas fuel by pyrolysis of waste plastics.
