Abstract
Based on the previous research achievements and the concrete needs of vibration isolation of aeroengine pipe system, the manufacturing methods, the basic performance of multi-layer steel plate isolator, and the main factors influencing on the performance of the multi-layer steel plate isolator were studied. The experimental results show that multi-layer steel plate isolator has good hysteretic damping performances and the relation between the rigidity and the energy dissipation coefficient is nonlinear. Furthermore, the isolator performance is influenced by the pre-compression and the number of steel plate layers of isolator. The results provide experimental base of multi-layer steel plate isolator application in aeroengine pipe support.
