Abstract

In order to raise the efficiency of the dynamic test of force-balance-accelerometer (FBA) in a strong ground motion measurement system and to reduce its cost, a new on-line dynamic test method is presented by using the self-calibrating mechanism (SCM) in FBA in this paper. According to the experimental results of absolute test and on-line test, the ultra low frequency vibration table is substituted with the SCM for FBA dynamic test.
