Abstract

Aimed at the checking and controlling of the machining gap, the composition and distribution of the electrolyte, and the pulses power supply in electrochemical micromachining (EMM), the experimental investigation of EMM was carried out. The characteristic and the main process of this technology were discussed firstly. Then some technology experiments were researched using high frequency short pulses power supply. The reformative project of experiment was put forward after the phenomenon and results of the experiments were analyzed. The feasibility of the project and technique route was testified correctly by further experiments, and micro structure was realized. The basis is provided for the practice application of EMM after the research of EMM experiments, and the application foreground of EMM is shown in the micro manufacture of metal parts.
