Abstract

At present, Hollow concrete filled-steel tubular structure has been extensively applied and promoted, but there is little research on the seismic behavior of them. The paper mainly study on the seismic behavior of HCFST column under axial load and cyclic horizontal load. Analyses the hysteresis characteristics and displace ductility of components. Then study the skeleton curve with the FEM software, analyses the influence of parameters. Theoretical research of HCFST frame column are carried by using energy method and limit equilibrium theory method. A three-stage skeleton curve theory model of HCFST column is provided, and the calculation of parameters about every stages is given too. Finally, the simplified calculation method of displacement ductility coefficient is proposed.
