Abstract

In order to investigate the bending capacity of sandwich panel for exterior snow load, dust load, and interior wind uplift load, the paper conducts an experiment on roof panel which are filled with rockwool, polyurethane, and Polystyrene foam (in short, PF). The thickness of the color steel sheet is t=0.5 mm, and there are two kinds thickness of the core material, respectively, t=50mm and t=80mm. For single span specimen L=2m, and for three-span specimen L=3×2=6m. The results show that the bending capacity of all the specimens depend on the capacity corresponding to the deformation f=L/200, not the strength. According to china Loading code for design of building structures (GB 50009-2001), it can satisfy all functional requirements in china.
