Abstract

Combining with the superiority of bubbling fluid bed with shallow bed depth and the characteristics of biomass pyrolysis, the fluid bed pyrolysis reactor of biomass flash pyrolysis was designed and manufactured to implement experiment of producing biomass pyrolysis oil by biomass flash pyrolysis. Quantitative feed was carried out to study the effects of operating parameters (temperature and fluidized gas flow) on the behavior of biomass pyrolysis product. In optimum pyrolysis condition, the maximum biomass pyrolysis oil yield of up to 65% is obtained. The major chemical components of biomass pyrolysis oil were obtained by GC-MS. The pyrolysis characteristics of biomass pyrolysis oil from flash pyrolysis of biomass were studied by thermogravimetric method.
