Abstract

The influence of wake characteristics with 60° turning angle plane compound lean compressor cascades, which was set tangent air injection slots, was investigated. The experimental results show that not only the characteristics of low velocity and total pressure in wake were improved effectively, but also the wake deficit and high entropy fluid intruded wake were decreased by tangent air injection. Thus, total flow loss in the outlet of cascades was reduced.
