Abstract
The high frequency ground wave radar has a longer accumulation time, resulting in less received data that can be used for spatial spectrum estimation. Aiming at this problem, this paper designs a pseudo-covariance matrix construction method based on single snapshot, and theoretically proves that the matrix is suitable for Gerschgorin disk algorithm (GDE) criterion source number estimation and multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm Direction of Arrival DOA) estimation. In order to improve the estimation performance, matrix weighting algorithm and beam domain algorithm are used. The simulation results show that the estimation of sources number and DOA based on the pseudo-covariance matrix can achieve good performance under the actual radar signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
