Abstract

The dynamic database on visco-temperature performance of aviation lubricating oils was established. The presented lubricating oils database has six functions, i.e. inquiry, computation, plot, compare, management, set increments of temperature. Four inquiring modules are available in the database for easy acquisition of viscosity data regarding domestic aviation lubricating oils between the temperature of 0 and 100°C, and the parameter data of the formula for calculating the viscosity at different temperatures. The viscosity at given temperature can be computed. The visco-temperature performances of different lubricating oils, along with the experimental viscosities and the computed viscosities for the same oil can be compared in the database.
