Establishing urban expansion evaluating system in China

Abstract

In order to distinguish the rationality of urban expansion, find out the problems in expansion and then guide city's develop healthy, the thesis attempt to establish urban expansion evaluating system. Because there is no definite line to discriminate reasonable and unreasonable land expanding phenomenon, the thesis uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluating method. The land expansion evaluating system includes 53 indexes covering three levels which are based on expanding way, expanding land benefits and expanding influences. The thesis also introduces the evaluating standard, evaluating model, and the way to determine the indexes' weight etc. The evaluating result may be useful for government department concerned to make or revise the land use planning or master planning.
