Abstract
The effective LEF αe is obtained by computing over the entire comb spectrum the mean square of α(ν)such as αe = s 1ν 1 Z comb dν0α2(ν0), (1) with 1ν the width of the comb spectrum, while ν0 is the frequency of the radiation emitted by the laser. Therefore, assuming a QD as a two-level atomic system and that the center of the emitted comb spectrum matches the center frequency of the QD transition, integration of Eq. (1) leads to 1ν = 2√30αe (2) with 0 the homogeneous broadening of the QD transition. The factor two was missing in [1].
