Equivalent circuit analysis for explosive magnetic frequency generators

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Explosive magnetic frequency generators consist of a spiral magnatocumulative generator with a small capacitive load. The sharp reduction of the inductance of the solenoid, caused by dynamite explosion, stimulates a strong oscillatory electric current in such devices, results in a sufficient strong microwave pulse in a quite short time. The induced electric current in the devices is analyzed on the base of their equivalent circuit diagram, and the frequency spectra of the current is also discussed.
