Abstract

Organizational memory (OM) integrates all kinds of organizational knowledge. It is regarded as the central prerequisite for IT support of knowledge management. Organizational memory transfer and duplication play an important role in establishing a solid organizational body of knowledge in the process of the organization's developments. This thesis analyzes the influencing factors upon organizational memory transfer and duplication, focusing on receptor characteristics and receptor models of organizational memory, then does an empirical study on the receptor and the approval level of organizational memory. This paper provides the theoretical foundations for research in depth in organizational memory transfer and duplication.
