Abstract

Road network is an important lifeline of a city, which affects the entire city social, economic survival and development. As a regional distribution network system, road network is vulnerable to earthquake. For emergency vehicle routing problem in post-earthquake city road network, this paper analyzes and proposes the concept of post-earthquake road safety, dividing emergency vehicle routing choice and optimization problem into two decision-making stages: pre-trip and en-route. In the pre-trip stage, based on the establishment of routing integrated indicators, using K shortest path algorithm, establishes pre-trip emergency vehicle multi-objective routing choice model; in the en-route stage, according to the circumstances of road section disruption or traffic congestion, presents the rule set of route optimization, respectively. Finally, using a simulated network, an example of the established model was proposed, and the results illuminate the validity of the model and the algorithm. Copyright ASCE 2009.
