Abstract
Frequency-domain metric-based controller parameter tuning strategies have become a key approach to ensuring that a system meets basic stability performance requirements. However, traditional frequency domain metrics reveal a series of limitations in their application, which serves as the starting point for this research. In light of this, the paper proposes an innovative controller parameter tuning method based on ellipses. First, a systematic analysis of the inherent defects and limitations of traditional frequency domain metric methods is provided. Then, from the perspective of numerical analysis, the concept of ellipses is introduced on the complex plane to replace the conventional frequency-domain metrics. This innovative design aims to optimize the controller parameter tuning process. Finally, by manually adjusting the controller parameters, precise regulation of the system is achieved. Simulation results fully validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, demonstrating that the system designed using this approach exhibits superior stability performance.
