Abstract

Electrochemical behavior of Dawson-type P 2W 18O 62 6- deposited on a glassy carbon electrode, Keggin-type SiMo 12O 40 4- and its derivative Dy(SiMo 11O 39) 2 13- deposited on a pyrolytic graphite electrode was described. All these modified electrodes displayed catalytic activity for nitrite reduction in acidic solutions and the catalytic current is linear to the square root of nitrite concentration.
