Abstract

The Ni-Co/graphene oxide nanocomposites were fabricated by alternating current pulse electrodeposition. Tensile as well as bulging forming tests were also performed on the fabricated material. The results show that graphene oxide can be effectively deposited on the Ni-Co matrix. With increasing of current density used in electrodeposition, elongations of composites at room temperature and the high temperature was first increased and then decreased, having a maximum value. The elongations increased with the growth of pH of the electrodeposition electrolyte. The proper addition of graphene oxide improved the plastic forming capability of the material, which was verified in the tensile test and bulging experiment at high temperature.
