Abstract
The architecture, algorithm and operation flow of the EH real-time computer image generation system are described. The hardware consists of a host, a geometry processor and a pixel processor. The host supports operation system and the real-time control application program. The geometry processor includes two CPUs. The geometry processing velocity is 1 million quadrilaterals per second. The pixel rendering peak value rate is 260 Mpixels per second. The EH CIG system has multi-channel, multi-view-point functions. 128 moving objects can be controlled. Daytime, night fall, sun glow, night and cloud fog atmospheric effect can be generated.
