Efficient single-frequency continuous wave(cw) Nd:YVO4/YVO 4 ring laser

Abstract

An efficient single-frequency laser-diode pumped, cw Nd:YVO 4/YVO4 ring laser emitting at 1064.4 nm is demonstrated. With 30W incident pump power, output power is 13W, with 52.8% slope efficiency, 43.3% optical efficiency and M2 ∼1.09 beam quality.
