Abstract
In high speed roller cylindrical bearings, distribution and variation of dynamic loads and contact pressures during running process have great effects on their working stability and lives. In this paper, distribution of loads and contact stress in high speed roller bearings are analyzed with quasi-dynamic method and FEA method considering effects of tilted misalignment between inner and outer rings. Fluctuation of loads and contact pressures in running process caused by the tilted misalignment is also evaluated. The results show that, when the tilted misalignment increased, the maximum contact pressure in bearings gradually increases to a steady state, and its fluctuation first gradually decreases then slightly increase. According to the investigation of contact pressure fluctuation on different bearing parameters, it can be concluded that the increase of roller number works better in improving the loading properties of bearings under certain work conditions.
