Abstract
To investigate the effects of non-Maxwellion electron distribution function on plasma-wall interaction in Hall thruster, a one-dimensional electron dynamic model that combined with a secondary electron emission model was used to calculate the important physical parameters of plasma-wall interaction. The obtained results show significantly different effects between Maxwellian and non-Maxwellian electron distributions on plasma-wall interaction processes, such as the energy deposition on the wall by incident electrons, the cooling of plasma electrons by secondary electrons, and so on.
