Abstract

It is widely recognized that hydrothermal time has an important influence on the structure, optical properties and photocatalytic activity of the photocatalysts. However, there are few reports concerning the effects of hydrothermal time on ZnIn2S4 photocatalyst. In this work, a series of ZnIn2S4 photocatalysts were prepared at different hydrothermal time (0.5, 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 and 48 h). The effects of hydrothermal time on the crystallinity, absorbing property, specific surface area, total pore volume, grain size, morphology and photocatalytic activity of ZnIn2S4 were studied.
