Abstract
Cyclone gasification of rice husk is the process that takes place in a cyclone gasification into which rice husk and its carried gas are directed and swirling flow forms. The temperature profile and the components of the producer gas were measured and the results indicated the with the increasing of the equivalence ratio the temperature near the entrance decreases and the temperature in the oxidization zone and near the outlet increases. In addition, the concentration of the CO and CH4 decreases while the concentration of H2 increases. However, the heating value of the producer gas and the tar yields in the producer gas decreases with the increasing of equivalence ratio. Based on the results, the optimal equivalence ratio is between 0.25 and 0.26.
