Abstract

The effect of material's elastic property on the maximal stress in solar panel (SP) under alternative temperature was investigated using an analytical method. Results showed that the maximal tensile/press and the shear stress existed in polyimide and the silicone rubber between composite materials and polyimide film. Employing polyimide with lower elastic modulus or silicone rubber with lower shear modulus would decrease the structural stress and obtain structure optimization.
