Abstract
The mathematic model of contact system's nonlinear vibration characteristics was built and the frequency-amplitude property of each order bending mode was solved by using multiple scales method. Then the softening spring behavior of contact system was determined. The effects of exciting force, initial contact force and contact mass parameters on vibration characteristics were investigated. The results are of theoretical and practical value for upgrading mechanical environment resistance of electromagnetic relay.
