Abstract
We studied the influence of CNT on the photothermal effect of Au Nanoparticles (AuNP) in a polymer composites by finite element simulation via a commercial software ANSYS. Primary research the relationships between the temperature distribution and thermal conductivity, the length of CNT as well as the distance between the AuNP and the CNT. Nanoscale reinforcements, such as CNT were able to enhance the effect dramatically. Uniform temperature distribution of the system and effective heating volume of AuNP to system can be enhanced by improving the rate of thermal conductivity of the CNT, maintaining the CNT to a certain length and reducing the distance between AuNP and CNT. Further study show that the when the CNT added to system, can also be reduce the highest temperature of the system, and improve the heating volume conditions of the systems of multiple AuNP.
