Effect of air heterogeneity to interferometry on rotating carrier

Abstract

The heterogeneity of air pressure in the interferometric light path caused by centrifugal force on a rotating carrier is analyzed. The distribution of refractive index in the interferometric light path is presented. The indication deviation of dynamic measurement in the interferometry system, which caused by the variation of air refractive index is studied. The results based on the analyses and calculation above can be applied to the correction of the measurement, which provide academic foundations for the analyses and design of dynamic interferometry system on rotating carrier, such as centrifuge, etc.
