Abstract
Based on the previous research on the dynamical model of gear mechanism with multiple clearances, dynamic experiments in consideration of the coupling between multiple clearances were carried out. The radial clearance and tooth backlash were considered in the experiment, with their valuies adjustable. By virtue of the test data about vibration performances, the vibration frequency and amplitude under different rotating speeds and clearances were analyzed and compared. The results prove that, compared with the traditional multiple clearances model, the calculated frequencies and amplitudes by the proposed dynamic model are better consistent with the experimental data. And the new model can also reflect the coupling vibration phenomenon caused by multiple clearances collisions.
