Dynamical reliability analysis of aseismic structures based on fuzzy damage criterion.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Dynamical reliability analysis of structures is often changed into the problem of solving the first passage probability of random rsponse of the critical section of structure in assigned time interval (0, T). Here, on the basis of full consideration of the strong fuzziness of the allowable damage grade of structure under the earthquake, a method is presented for dynamical reliability analysis of aseismic structures based on fuzzy damage criterion. As an application of the method presented, the dynamical reliabilities based on the fuzzy criterion for single-degree-of-freedom hysteresis aseismic structure are derived and a numerical example is given.-English summary
