Abstract

Service discovery is an important problem in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs). In allusion to the contradiction between the universality of the transmission scope and economics of the network overhead, this thesis brought forward the necessary improvements for the deliver strategy of service information, the author makes transmission radius change dynamically in value, making them change self-adaptively according to network environment. The conclusion was drawn throuth the simulation by NS2, and the strategy can recover the contradiction between the transmission and consumption and enhangce the performance of the service discovery protocol.
