Abstract
In order to solve the problems caused by the lack of energy source in the defrosting process of traditional ASHP, an energy storage based defrosting method for ASHP is presented and the corresponding experimental rig is developed. Experimental results show that the defrosting time can be decreased by 150 s, the suction pressure can be increased about 180 kPa, and the recovering time of heating supply is obviously shortened. It can be concluded that the developed defrosting method and the designed experimental rig are feasible.
