title = "Dynamic network reconfiguration using time-interval based strategy and improved moment method",
abstract = "Network reconfiguration with time-varying load demand in distribution systems is investigated in this paper. The aim is to determine the optimal network configuration according to load variation over a specified time period. To reduce the times of changing network topology, a time-interval based strategy is adopted. The objective function of the presented dynamic network reconfiguration algorithm is to maximize the income during a period of time. In the application of poised apparent accurate moment method (PAAM), its physical meanings are considered and the effective heuristic rule is introduced. To demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method, two test systems with different sizes are studied. The results show that the income obtained by time-interval based reconfguration, at most cases, are greater than or equal to that obtained by maximum and average load demand reconfiguraiton.",
