Abstract

The controller parameters tuning is a difficult problem in the application of three-phase PWM rectifier, therefore, aiming at resolving the above problem, the theoretical analysis and dSPACE real-time simulation are studied. The current controller is designed using sliding mode control, and the necessary of separate current loop parameters tuning is proposed. Moreover, PI control is employed in the voltage control loop, and PI parameters tuning method is given. The real-time simulation experiment system is constructed based on dSPACE to validate the proposed methods. Experiment results show that the proposed PWM rectifier control system has better steady and dynamic performance with correct and feasible parameter tuning methods, and dSPACE is very convenient for power electronic system analysis and design.
