title = "Double diagonalisation: An improved zero-forcing detector for orthogonal STBC over time-selective fading channels",
abstract = "All orthogonal space-time block coding (OSTBC) schemes assume that the channel remains static over the length of the codeword. However, time selective fading channels do exist, and under such conditions the conventional O-STBC detectors will suffer from an error floor in the high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) cases. This paper is a sequel to the authors' earlier results addressing the Gi codes (i = 3 and 4): it presents an improved zeroforcing implementation termed double diagonalisation. This new scheme incurs less noise amplification and therefore offers a much better BER for the same SNR.",
