Abstract
A new estimation algorithm by adaptive Chirplet decompression was presented in this paper, based on the principle of the signal decompression and restructuring. The Doppler centre and the Doppler rate were joint estimated without the correlation of the echo's spectra in azimuth. The results of the simulated data and the raw data of a air SAR prove this method is effect to the low-contrast scene with better focusing performance.
