Abstract
In this paper, it is pointed out that several problems such as obtaining the line of sight (LOS)rate, realizing of the mathematics decoupling algorithm, integrated designing for guidance and control system must be solved if the strapdown imaging guidance technique could be realized in the missile system, by comparing characters of strapdown imaging seekers and gimbaled seekers. The rotation relationship between all coordinates and attitude decoupling algorithm of strapdown imaging homing missiles are derived. Considering measurement noise and nonlinearity of the strapdown imaging guidance system, the principle of Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) is introduced to estimate LOS rate. Strapdown imaging guidance and control system is analyzed, and ideas about integrated designing for system are proposed.
