Abstract
Direct numerical simulations of a turbulent heat transfer in a channel flow with a Giesekus model have been carried out to investigate the characteristics of turbulent heat transfer of a viscoelastic-fluid-based nanofluids flow. The fluid was assumed as single phase and temperature was considered as a passive scalar. Compared to the viscoelastic base fluid flow, the heat transfer enhancement for the viscoelastic-fluid-based nanofluids was obtained.
