Abstract

In the present study, diffraction of antiplane shear wave by a finite crack in a magneto-electro-elastic laminate is considered. The magneto-electro- elastic layer is bonded between two half-spaces of a different elastic solid, and a crack is vertical to the interfaces. Based on the superposition principle and the integral transform techniques, the solution is obtained in terms of a singular integral equation. The effects of frequency and geometric parameters on the dynamic stress factor and the dynamic energy release rates are discussed.
