Abstract
The basic principle and main procedures of the dieless hydro-bulging spherical vessels are introduced first. And then, several main development stages of this technology are described. Numerical simulation of the integral hydro-bulge forming of spherical vessel, the hydro-bulge forming process of ellipsoidal shell and toroidal shell are conducted by using the explicit finite element code LS-DYNA, respectively. Finally some application examples of dieless hydro-bulging technology of spherical vessels are given.
