Abstract
A parametric design software for tools in common use in steam turbine product-calipers and plug guage is developed according to the modularized idea. The software that is developed using C++ language and Access database is the secondary development product of UG. The selection of development platform, classification of function modules and realization of each function module are discussed in detail. An example is given to show the way of using the software. The application shows that it may shorten the design period and enhance the design quality.
