Abstract

Physical properties of several kinds of general mirror materials are compared. Many characters of the most promising SiC mirror material are listed. The development of the SiC mirror manufacture, optical surfacing and SiC system are introduced. The prospect of SiC mirror and system is also suggested briefly.
