Abstract

This paper presents a new data acquisition system based on multi-communication media, such as Ethernet, powerlines, phonelines and wireless. Through these communication media, dispensing with "new wires" or "addition wires", the system can transmit and receive the measurement and control data stream from sensor, A/D converter and other devices reliably. In addition, the system can send and get data through internet or intranet, the data can be operated using internet explorer. Another strongpoint is that it can translate the multi-protocol(UDP, CEBUS, Bluetooth, USB ect.) into uniform UART protocol, so as to the most of low cost MCU can process the data. Especially, the additional port can also be link to Bluetooth, USB if needed. The scheme provides the low cost, integrated and valid network solution for measurement and control system, distributive system, robot control, network instruments and so on.
